About Me

My name is Brandon Genson, and I’m a specialist in communications, social media management, photography, and writing based in Phoenix, Arizona.

While I was never much of an athlete, I found my passion in storytelling from the sidelines. At the age of 14, I began writing for local sports blogs and my high school newspaper. I further honed my craft at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.

After three years as the Arizona Golf Association’s Senior Communications Manager — where I elevated the organization’s brand and presence across social media, web, magazine, and email communications — I transitioned into a Social Media Content Creator role with Maricopa Community Colleges District, helping elevate the district’s social media presence at the institution I once attended.

In addition, I work with Gondola as an NBA Digital Correspondent, creating short-form, live in-game content for the NBA that is featured across the NBA App, Instagram, X, and TikTok.

In addition to the NBA, my work has been featured by and/or created for organizations including the WM Phoenix Open, USGA, ESPN, BleacherReport, The Patriot All-America Invitational, Southwestern Amateur, Grass League, Arizona State Athletics, Park University Gilbert, AmateurGolf.com, and PinalCentral.
